Mentorship Program

Are you in a new position or transitioning to another district?  Would some additional advice and guidance from a seasoned veteran help you prepare for increased responsibility and a successful career?  If so, the PASBO Mentorship Program might be right for you!

In this program, each mentee is matched with an experienced mentor, who will provide them with information and encouragement through continued communication and participation in local PASBO regional chapter meetings.  Each mentor and mentee can also earn 6 CEUs toward their PASBO Professional Certification (PCSBA, PCSBO, and PCSBS only).

This program seeks to:​

• provide a unique professional development opportunity for new and experienced school business officials.
• assist Pennsylvania school entities with the successful transition of school business officials and thereby improve the delivery of services to the students, staff, and community.
• provide technical assistance and guidance to school business officials to promote the attainment of the highest standards of ethics and competence in all aspects of school business management.
• assist school business officials in understanding the need for and the development of an on-going personal professional development plan to enable them to attain the highest level of personal competence and to prepare them for positions of increased responsibilities.
