The Kennett Consolidated School District is seeking a dynamic leader who will nurture, prepare, and empower ALL students and staff to succeed in their academic, social, and emotional journey. POSITION TITLE: Director of Pupil Services and Supports
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent
Purpose: The Director of Pupil Services and Supports coordinates and supervises the legal implementation, timelines, and creation of all student supports housed under IDEA law. The Director is responsible for the oversight and legal implementation of all aspects of Chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. The Director will have oversight of all student service areas including but not limited to school counseling, mental health supports including school psychologists and mental health therapists as well as related services such as Home & School Visitors, OT, PT, and Speech and Language. The Director will also support the district's MTSS initiative and help to ensure the proper use of data to support appropriate achievement goals for all students.
