Director of Physical Plant
Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of Director of Physical Plant.
The position of the Director of Physical Plant includes:
- Oversee the operation of all school facilities including the planning and implementing of maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
- Serve as lead staff member in capital facility planning and manage subsequent construction projects.
- Maintain the physical plant in a condition of operating excellence so that the full educational use of it may be made at all times.
- Perform personnel administrative functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
Architecture, Business, General
Construction or related field.
- Experience - Five (5) years experience in Facilities
Management.
Must posses comprehensive
knowledge of construction procedures,
building operating systems
and regulatory codes.
Must posses knowledge and
understanding of mechanical systems,
technology, school code, electrical
systems, HVAC, and facility disciplines.
This position is a full-time, twelve-month position.
