Director of Facility Management
ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION Position: Director of Facility Management Building: Hampton Township School District QUALIFICATIONS: Full-time, 12-month position. Reports to the Director of Administrative Services. The facilities include one High School Building, one Middle School Building, three Elementary School Buildings, and one District Office, a football stadium, and various sports fields and building grounds. Minimum requirements include: Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or Technical Certification and five years of facilities management experience required. Bachelor’s Degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Combination of experience, training and education in areas of facility management, including the supervision of construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of facilities required. Experienced in all phases of management and maintenance of physical plant and grounds, including construction management, bidding requirements, estimating, specification writing, budgeting, and financial management. Able to understand and interpret architectural drawings and construction drawings and building codes. Knowledge of preventative maintenance, repair, process control systems, and construction for all areas including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing. Experience in Supervision of Maintenance and Custodial Staff. Familiar with local, state, and federal codes/ordinances as they apply to operation of school and other public facilities. SALARY: Dependent upon experience and education.
