Chief Financial and Operations Officer
The Dover Area School District seeks a dynamic individual with integrity, superior communication and business skills, and outstanding administrative ability to lead the district of approximately 3,500 students and a $67 million budget. This cabinet-level position is responsible for all aspects of the school district’s business operations, including budget development and management, accounting and reporting, overseeing pupil transportation, buildings and grounds maintenance, food service, human resources, payroll and purchasing.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Requirements Qualifications:
  1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or Accounting from an accredited institution required.  Master’s Degree or licensed CPA preferred.
  2. Five or more years of experience in business and fiscal management; Preferred experience within school business administration and finance administration.
  3. Demonstrated experience in staff supervision.
  4. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to facilitate communication between administration, staff and public; establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and the school community.
  6. Possess excellent working knowledge of local, state and federal statutes and the ability to create multi- year budget forecasts, as well as preferred experience working with foundations, grants and alternative funding options.
