Assistant Business Manager
The Assistant Business Manager provides support and services for the educational programs of the school district by assisting the Director of Finance and Operations/Board Secretary in supervising and handling the daily activities related to the financial and accounting operations of the school system.

The Assistant Business Manager will supervise AP, Payroll, Purchasing, Tax Collection and assist in budget prep and various aspects of facilities, food service, and transportation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, business administration or related business field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in one of the above fields. Must have solid accounting experience and/or background. Experience in School Business preferred.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of governmental accounting standards. Experience with fixed assets, depreciation and departmentalized accounting.
  • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be qualify to be bonded.
