In this webcast, we will explain the basic requirements of administering the most common employee benefit programs in Pennsylvania. As with many aspects of administering payroll in public schools, most of the benefit programs are common to all employers and many are administered by payroll. This webcast will help you establish a general awareness of administering these benefits so that situations requiring expert assistance can be more easily recognized. The webcast will focus on those benefits outside of medical and prescription plans.
This webcast will cover the following benefit programs with information explaining the benefit, proper treatment and other useful tips from practitioners in the field…
Taxability of Fringe Benefits; COBRA; Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Cost Control and Administration; Flexible Medical Spending Accounts; Group Life Insurance, Flexible Dependent Care Spending Accounts; Health Savings Accounts; Tax Sheltered Accounts (403(b)); Deferred Compensation Accounts (457); Workers Compensation Administration.
