ORIENTATION SESSION:
An online Orientation Web Session will be held on Monday, January 25 at 12:00 Noon.
This session will overview the course and expectations. This call will not be recorded.
First line supervisors are typically skilled technicians who have been assigned HR-related tasks in addition to their daily duties. Often this assignment comes without the requisite HR training, which this course will provide. Its target audience includes, head cooks; head custodians; and transportation department, facilities department, and business office personnel with reporting employees. Topics include:
- The supervisor’s role in hiring
- Evaluation and discipline
- Handling conflict
- Creating a team environment
