Shrom Named PASBO Director Research

Dr. Timothy J. Shrom, currently business manager of Solanco School District where he has been employed for 35 years, has been named director of research for the PA Association of School Business Officials (PASBO). Shrom, who will join the PASBO staff on May 1, is a past president of the organization and is a recipient of PASBO's Gary Reeser Award and ASBO International's Eagle Award. He was elected to the Board of Trustees of the PA School District Liquid Asset Fund in 2006.
Shrom has served as a board member and Chair for the Lancaster County Business Group on Health and an executive committee member of the Lancaster County Employee Health Care Consortium. He is currently the chair of the PASBO health care task force. He was a member of the Board of Advisors of the National Education Finance Academy (NEFA) and has been recognized as a Distinguished Research and Practice Fellow by the NEFA.

Shrom holds degrees from Elizabethtown College and Penn State University.
