PASBO members Dr. Wayne McCullough of Southern York County School District and Shawn Sampson of Titusville Area School District, along with Jay Himes, presented testimony to the House Education Committee on House Bill 2124, sponsored by Rep. Seth Grove of York County. The bill proposes to streamline the current PlanCon process, create a website listing the status of each PlanCon project, allow school districts prevented from entering the PlanCon process to remain eligible for state funding should they need to engage in a project before the expiration of the moratorium, provide interest payments to those districts that have been trapped at Part G for over a year, and allocate $100 million in additional funding to the PlanCon line item.
