In today’s financial environment, LEA purchasing agents need to take advantage of every resource to increase their purchasing power and to stretch the dollar. This webcast will review procurement opportunities that exist through cooperative purchasing agencies/cooperative contracts. Discussion will include the legality of joint purchasing agreements; the case for cooperative purchasing; an overview of cooperative purchasing and a review of a sampling of commonly used cooperative purchasing programs. Participants will gain an awareness of joint purchasing cooperative programs and how LEAs can save time and money by utilizing them.
