In an effort to minimize start up costs for Act 32 Tax Collection Committees (TCC’s), PASBO has created a comprehensive sample tax collection agreement. This is a “one of a kind” document reflecting all Act 32 required provisions and important protections needed for taxing authorities following more than 300 hours of legal research and review. The 57-page document was developed by Clarence Kegel, Esq. and Jason Confair, Esq. of Kegel, Kelin, Almy and Grimm, for and in consultation with the PASBO Act 32 Task Force. This shared legal service will help to minimize expenses for TCC’s. It can be purchased in the PASBO Store initially for $4,000. If more than 25 TCC’s purchase the agreement, the cost will be reduced to $2,500 and you will receive a refund. If more than 50 TCC’s purchase the agreement, the cost is reduced again to $1,500.
