All school staff engaged in accounting or bookkeeping activities must have a working knowledge of the rules, principles and procedures for government fund accounting as it applies to Pennsylvania school districts.  The course provides a survey of the elements of fund accounting. Topics include: Terminology and Structure; Accounting for Debt; Capital Assets; Basis of Accounting; Chart of Accounts; Reporting, Auditing and Accountability.
