Join us at the 55th Annual Conference and Exhibits!
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to return to Hershey to join us for the 55th Annual PASBO Conference and Exhibits on March 9 - 12, 2010. This year’s conference is filled with exciting changes while maintaining the core educational sessions that are the mainstay of our nationally recognized program at PASBO.
Our conference committee comprised of Assistant Conference Chairs Thomas C. Brown, PRSBA, John E. Brenchley, PRSBA and David J. Edkin, PRSBA, 45 PASBO content experts and the amazing PASBO staff have teamed together to provide four exciting days with a variety of information-packed seminars, clinic tables, mini-workshops, cracker-barrel sessions and computer labs that will arm you with all of the tools to tackle your daily problems on the home-front when you return!
Based on your input and feedback, we have made several notable changes to the 2010 conference. First, we have a compacted Tuesday schedule to allow for travel time in the morning thereby avoiding the need for Monday night lodging and minimizing time out of the office. We are hopeful that you will stay with us on Friday morning, following an evening of good friends, fine food and fun at Thursday’s updated PASBO Celebration that you don’t want to miss! Friday morning sessions were such a success last year that we are again providing eight seminars Friday morning followed by an exciting second general session and lunch, which is included in your full conference registration.
Please be sure to register early to take advantage of discounted registration and on-site lodging at the Hershey Lodge. Whether you are a first-time attendee, just searching for the latest information or an experienced leader, you’ll be sure to enjoy unparalleled professional development, exhibitor resources and networking opportunities to serve your community each day.
Join us for sweet learning in Hershey!

Walter Bond
No One Can Stop You But You
After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Communications,
Walter Bond overcame a devastating injury to become the first NBA rookie free
agent ever to start on opening night. Walter, the young man who never, ever gave
up on his dreams, went on to have an eight-year professional basketball career,
playing alongside such NBA greats as Karl Malone and John Stockton as a guard
for the Utah Jazz and the Detroit Pistons. Toward the end of his basketball career,
Walter developed the ability to apply on-the-court success and teamwork to the
business world when he and his wife became owners of a national franchise. Walter
changed his profession but never changed his winning attitude.
Second General Session
